Praying Partners,
Thank you
for your continued prayers for us and our ministry in Australia. We share
Paul’s sentiment when he wrote in Rom. 15:30, “I appeal to you, brothers, by
our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit, to strive together with me
in your prayers to God on my behalf,”. Together – what a beautiful word! How
blessed are we that God ordained our Christian journey to be arm in arm,
working towards the common goal of proclaiming the gospel. We want you to know
that we pray for you as well. Weekly we pray for wisdom for your pastor,
finances, pandemic concerns and for each ministry to be a light of the gospel
to the community where God has placed you. We couldn’t do this without your
prayer support.
Tomorrow we
are having a baptism service! It has been tricky with COVID restrictions, but
we managed to find a portable baptismal that has been transported to the school
for our use. We have 5 people getting baptized – what a blessing! There is one
Aussie, one Brazilian, two Filipinos and one Kiwi (New Zealander). Quite the
international group! If you see this in time, please be praying as there will
be several unsaved people in attendance.
We’ve had to
pull the plug on our Easter outreach. We’re all disappointed but just can’t
seem to work it all out with the current situation with COVID. We are putting
all our efforts now into our Mini Show in September! We appreciate prayer as we
plan.
Just
recently we found out we lost a church that supports us. Finances are always
tricky when you live halfway around the world from the source of income!
Honestly, it’s another opportunity to trust God to provide. And He always does!
Prayer allows you to be part of the blessings when God answers, so just passing
that along to you.
